Hi, I'm Adara, the founder of Adarlie Jewelry. Making Jewelry is one of my passions. From a very young age I have had an interest in jewelry and I have always been a hands-on type of person. So, when I met a fellow jeweler for the first time at the age of 12, I began to look into jewelry smithing. The more I looked into it, the more I fell in love with it. All of the fascinating techniques to use on metal can turn a little metal nugget into a really amazing piece of jewelry that someone in this world will hold and cherish for a very long time. Watching someone's face light up with joy at receiving a new pair of earrings or a bracelet has always touched my heart so it was extra special to see their pleasure in receiving something I hand-crafted. I created my first silver piece at age twelve, before I had any official training, but I really started my way as a jeweler at the age of fourteen, when I asked my mom for a blow-torch for my birthday so that I could start soldering. Since then, I have studied under quite a few master jewelers and graduated from the Maziar School of Jewelry.
Currently my jewelry studio is based in Tel Aviv, where I live with my cat, Lilian, who loves to sit and watch me work at my bench. I receive a lot of my inspiration from the beautiful world that is around us. If I am not in my studio you will most likely find me at the beach watching the surf or hiking somewhere…
Why is Adarlie Jewelry called Adarlie Jewelry? Adarlie is a combination of my name, Adara, which means "happiness and joy", and "lie" (pronounced 'lee') which in Hebrew means "for me". So the name Adarlie means "happiness for me" and that is exactly what I want for you. For you to feel happy and good while wearing the jewelry you purchased from me.
I invite you to look through my site and find treasures you will keep for yourself and also give to your friends. In that way you are helping me spread the joy of receiving beautiful jewelry. Adara
